José Carlos Cano Lozano

He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher. Born in Linares (Jaén).

Education

* Degree in mechanical Engineering at the University of Jaén, in 2009.

* Master in Sustainability and Energy efficiency at the University of Jaén, in 2010.

* PhD in Fluid Mechanics at the University of Jaén, in 2015.

Interests

Jose Carlos's research is based on experiments and numerical simulation of multiphase flows, mainly bubbles. In particular, he studies bubble formation from an underwater nozzle with and without liquid co-flow, and the bubble rising, analyzing the relation between the bubble shape, path and wake. He has complemented his formation with two stays at the Institut de Mécanique des Fluides de Toulouse (IMFT) with professor Jacques Magnaudet.
