The Fluid Mechanics and Fluid-Structure Interaction Research Group of the University of Jaén is a young and active group of researchers with expertise in different techniques in Fluid Mechanics, including analytical, experimental and numerical studies.
About Us
The group consists of 9 members from the University of Jaén, including 6 PhD and 2 PhD students and a technician. In addition it counts with 3 members from other Universitites. Our research topics are mainly focused on multiphase flows, such as bubble formation, jets stability or sediment transport in free-surface flows, wakes stability, transition to turbulence in pipes, and fire dynamics within large enclosures.
